Hey Jacob, the link works but the guitar is heavily overpowering the volume of the backing song. In my opinion, you could either turn the amp away from the camera or just cut it down to make for more pleasurable viewing in regards to your listeners. This is just an opinion of course. Welcome to MLP btw.
If I turn my guitar down anymore i wouldnt be able to hear it when i play lol i recorded it on a cell phone so its difficult to ballence the audio of both. Ones either to loud or to quite everytime lol
No sweat man, was just being honest. When i'm considering my videos to post, if I have to LISTEN FOR the backing music or the lead, i usually give it another go.
As i said, Welcome to MLP. You're in good company.
Yeah I understand lol thanks for the advice. When I try turning up the track itself the mic peaks, and with less volume i lose sustain and it doesn't cut through cause the volume on my mesa is so damn touchy that its imposible to get inbetween quite and super loud. But, how was the playing? thats all i really care about haha
I gave you a thumbs up on your channel, the playing was good. Actually when the backing music kicks in, the volume thing isn't so noticeable. Good playing
Putting your own touch on songs like that is the way to do it.
I acctually plan on recording something with good quality and spending more than a day on the arangement as of yesterday. My frienf has access to NesComs studios and gear so we're going to do something
