New to me Les Paul

Saw this last night on my local Craigslist.
Got a message back this morning that someone was going check it out at noon and if he didn't buy it I would get a call.
Figured it would be gone by 5 after noon, so I offered an extra $100 for first refusal.
He said ok.
I bought it an hour later... 20 past noon.
1 hour drive each way but totally worth it.

Fellow brought it with him when he moved to the states from Italy, so a well traveled guitar.
He had a bunch of work done about 5 years back.
Double action truss rod.
New Ebony board
Neck Inlay
Fret job
Neck binding ... no nibs now

And the pickup covers were removed too.

So a players guitar not a collectors piece.
So I guess it's time for some pics.

Obviously needs a good cleaning but I'm pretty happy right now.

They say someone loved me and played the snot out me.
When I see that I think "I bet it's a great playing guitar"
If it's 30 years old and looks like new, I can appreciate it, but I'm not really interested (I probably couldn't afford it anyway)

The inlays are amazing. So much color in person.
I can't get a great pic, but here's one that shows some of the colors.

I was told when the work was done the luthier used "Gibson" Materials, what exactly that means I don't know, but the inlays look great.

Customs with exposed pickups are pretty dang cool

Yeah, doesn't really bother me much, just that white coil stands out so much.
But about half of my LPs don't have covered pickups.
I'd still like to have some just in case.

I've tried to get some better inlay pics but I'm only able to get small pics uploaded. Oh well.

Well I heard from the luthier who did the work on the fretboard.
He says that Gabon Ebony was used as well as Mother of Pearl for the inlays.
He didn't have any notes about the fretwire used, but said the owner did request a different radius than the norm. Possibly a compound radius, he couldn't remember exactly what was requested 5 years ago and his notes didn't specify.
So I guess I need some radius guages to find out exactly what I'm dealing with there.
