Hey guys, it has brought me to my attention that there will be a new signature Slash model. Slash is currently using it on his Apocalyptic Love Tour and it is said that it is used mostly for Slide or Drop Tunings. So check it out :)

There has been a few threads on this.

I'm a Slash fan but I have to say a signature based on a guitar he uses live for 1 song per set is pushing it a little.....

Either way it looks nicer than the AFD imo but we'll still be bent over with regards to pricing here in Oz thanks to AMI and Gallins.

Come on! You know eventually there will be a Slash model per song he plays... The Slash "Nightrain", The Slash "Jungle", The Slash "Paradise", but, the Slash "Sweet Child" I hear, will be the best of the bunch!

When i saw him live on his Apocalyptic Love Tour (front row up on the barriercade) he only used his AFD guitar, except for this one. This one he only uses for "Beggars and Hangers On" (Slide song) but besides that it was the same old AFD LP being changed around for the backup one cause the other would be soaked in sweat. Or he would change them if he's doing Eb songs.

Although he does have quite a few sig models out. He is also pulling out the old Mockingbird but without the floyde :wow: and Slash models sell very quickly and i think Slash and Gibson are tryingto come up with ideas cause they're such a hit.

Sorry, not trying to be a wet blanket (or Troll), but how many signature models can this guy get? It's to the point now where "Slash Signatures" are becoming a joke, and are simply cheapening the entire premise of a signature model.

Hey Gibson, want to make a signature model; how about extending yourselves and maybe offer something in the line of a Dickie Betts. Hey, maybe you could lower the ridiculous price on the Don Felder signature?

Sorry for the rant, but these signatures are just getting ridiculous, IMHO. :io:

The AFD is my choice as the best :slash: signature. And is the most iconic :slash: guitar as being the one used to record on most of the things he played on.

Not seeing a problem. According to that site, Slash has had 7 signature Les Pauls over the last 22 years, totalling only 5454 production units. It seems that they sell out just as they barely hit the shelves/walls.

Now, try to study Kirk Hammett's roster.. http://bbs.espguitars.com/showthread.php?t=60152

I think the Kirk list is a bit over done as it counts the LTD versions as different guitars, but still...

dayum.
