I was surprised as the (small) size of the OEM caps.

We guitar players of today do not realize how blessed we are with all these incredible
pu' winders available to us.
I can think of at least 25 off the top of my head that wind a p'u that will shame any mass produced model.
And they are really not all that much money when you compare the price to a old P.A.F on ebay or reverb that may or may not be a "sweet" one.
Now getting that out of the way, WOLFTONES are definitely in that 25 incredible winders i can name!

I absolutely love the Dr. Vintage, so much so that I decided to get a second set after I decided my special CreamTone A3 pickups belonged in a Les Paul Custom that I'm sending out to CreamTone.

Anyways, the Dr. Vintage have a very thin (Ina a good PAF way), sweet and clean tone as Wolfe described it. I really love that tone. My new Dr. Vintage is with Wolfe getting aged covers
