Sorry, I couldn't resist the sarcasm. But I assume the reason you don't go on the internet with a phone is because you don't have that kind of phone and or don't think of phones that way. I'm an old fart too so I don't think of them that way either, the wife uses her i-Phone when we're traveling and I can use my i-Pod Touch when we're in a wi-fi hotel. But it is the future, the i-Pad takes using the internet on the go a step closer. I don't know if the phone you're looking at which has wi-fi for transferring files will connect to the internet or not, maybe not or they would have said so.

Anyway be open to what's being offered these days, I'll bet there was a time you thought the internet was a bunch of hot air until you found specific things that were useful to you. That's how it was for me. I think someday you will think of going out without internet access like you now think of going out without a mobile phone.

:laugh2:.. You are getting more English ever day Sin.
Well evidently you take a video and click on the you-tube symbol which is already installed as an icon in the phone and it connects and uploads automatically.
Look at that review vid above and you'll see the you-tube connection symbol.

If it connects to YouTube it should be able to connect to most things on the internet, unless they don't provide a browser. If it is internet capable you might find it more useful than you think. ;)

If you will be able to upload videos easily are you going to upload some lessons for me? :hmm:

Since I don't speak colloquial British I don't understand the significance of your response. You sent 15 Christmas cards? I had to pay 15 quid? You're watching a "football" game where both teams have a poor defense? Or was was I roundly insulted? :hmm:

A tennis reference, soft shite! Referring to the score. In this case, we each scored off each other, so 15-15. Fifteen all.

Jeez, don't these kids learn ANYTHING nowadays? :wow: :dude:

Serious question, Sin.
Does that mean that at the MLP UK meet night, Phil can video a performance with his phone, immediately post it up on Youtube, and via internet access post on this forum and give people the link?

They have tennis in Britain? I didn't realize anything in our exchanges deserved any points, just bouncing balls off the backboard. I already know in a real insult match I wouldn't have a chance. :(

As far as I know yes. And people could cheer or flame the performance from all over the world, not just in the pub. :laugh2: You could have an international pole like "Who's got Talent" or something.

JK, don't think you should actually make it competitive but it could be fun for the few MLPers who don't make it to the Meet.

I'm a nice, quiet person, honestly!

That's great news. Now we've just got to get Philis to understand the technology behind it...! :dude:

Well evidently you can be in a field, take a video and from the phone, upload it from where you are straight onto you-tube without going anywhere near a computer.
At least that's what I'm led to believe you can do. :laugh2:

Theoretically that is true with most mobiles these days. The problem is the speed of the upload.

Are you in a good 3G or even 3.5G area? also, do you get a data allowance included in your contract? if not, you could find yourself with a huge bill!

Blimey, now you are getting technical.. I'll have to check that. I think it's all included, but I'm not sure.
