Depends on a couple of things .How important is a rosewoood fretboard to you and if the satin back and neck are a dealbreaker.I personally dont care for the satin neck and dont care what the fretboard is as long as it feels and plays good , but everyone is different.I say play them and let your ears and hands decide.

I'm not a fan of rosewood fretboards, satin backs or satin necks. Or "balanced" pickups. Or cheesed or chambered guitar bodies, either.

Seems to me that I have an original Les Paul around here that has a solid body, an ebony fretboard, real MOP inlays and a gloss everything else -- and both of the pickups are the same pickup. To me that's what a Gibson Les Paul is. And whatever the hell else Gibson is making these days is a counterfeit <G>. Get off my lawn.
