I'm thinking about picking up one of these before the 0% financing option is gone.

2017 LP Tribute T - Gold Top. $809
2017 LP Studio Faded T - Ch- $799
2017 LP Faded T - $809

This will be in the office, typically unplugged or through headphones.
I currently have a 2017 Standard HP

Going to practicing, playing some classic rock stuff

Thanks!

Because of components, or because it's gold? Just curious
Because the tribute is better :D Faded is the low-end les paul, looks cheap, and modern weight relief.
The 2017 Tribute line is the best guitar for that price. Good looking and traditional weight relief. (i prefer the honeyburst, if you can choose, but in that price range, the colour is indifferent)

Going to buy a tribute to my office too :)

I like the covered pups, faux binding and gold top...

And am partial to no relief....but if it must have relief, I prefer 9 hole to modern/ultra....

All great deals but I think the Goldie Tribute edges this decision for me..

Can’t go wrong with either..

What finish is your standard?

+1 Tribute looks like an old/vintage/aged les paul. Faded looks like a Les Paul from amazon :D And the faded is not real faded because it's a glossy faded (paradox)

Burbon Burst for my standard. I tend to prefer finishes where I can see wood grain, but I'm not dead set against painted. I too would go with honey burs if possible.

I would not get a painted if u like grain...
That won’t change...
Granted i love gold but am almost equally in love with plaintop bursts...
The one honey Tribute I saw in person was spectacular...absolutely great looking...

So, think I'll go with the Tribute. Now decide if it's worth the extra $100 for the 2018 with no weight relief. Looks like it comes with the soft case and not the gig bag, but not sure about that

Are Tribs thinner than Standards? I thought I read that on this forum(?)

I chose the Tribute to compliment my Standard HP and couldn't be happier with the choice. Plus, a 2017 HB from SW for $760 shipped with bag. I didn't want to deal with any more cases.
