Bought a new Air, old ipad2 couldn’t run new app versions. (Digital mixer apps (Yamaha) and other apps.)

Didn’t like browsers I tried, Opera Mini was broken by newest iPadOS so I tried some others. Don’t like Safari much either...
Ghostery was broken too.

Tried Opera Touch. I’m done looking. Great browser. Great on the Mule too.

Difference: Open in new tab - acts like a new page so tabs up top don’t eat up real estate. To see/change/close tabs, hit pages icon top right of bar. A LOT better than previous Opera. Love it.

Love the new Air and split and float screen multitasking is cool beans too. Fast damn iPad with Opera Touch too!
Just thought I’d post my findings as mobile browsing on the Mule can be a pain in the ass...

edro.

Seems like most mobile browsers worked oddly with the Mule, especially when app updated or Mule css sheets modified.

Op Touch seems to work flawlessly so far. Irritated me that newest iPadOS broke ghostery.

Haven’t tried Touch on my Android yet but plan to before long. Badass on iPad.

Opera.com doesn't load on four different browsers. Bad Gateway.
It's downloadable elsewhere, but shouldn't their site work, too?

VPN can sometimes gen a bad gateway error from some past incident that caused their server to flag the IP address.

Good deal....

I've been on an Ipad Pro V2 for a few years and MLP has no problems and its fast as hell.

I've tried a few browsers but I like Safari and just keep it up dated.

I have 3 of Ipad 2's those are pretty old tech and slow....

The trick on those was to not update beyond IOS7, the final Ipad2 update IOS 9.3.5 (I believe)....turns your Ipad into a slug and bogs them down.

I found out the hard way.

2 of mine are now just glorified IPods.....

I did this last year for the hell of it with my old iPad 2. It was flakey as hell...

I backed up to my laptop, reset it, and restored back.
Snappy as hell again. Didn’t solve the updated apps issue but it ran like when new.

I figure it got rid of a lot of temp shit that it should clear on app close...but didn’t....

Windows has ALWAYS been rather psycho in memory use...

IBM had the cheese with OS/2 but screwed the pooch with marketing it.

IPadOS is slick on these new iPads.

Still using Opera Touch. Quicker than all the others and stable as hell.

Hell yeah.
