I am trying to post pictures, but having problems uploading them. I've recently acquired a Vintage Sunburst Sheraton (2003 MIK), and an Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Tribute in cherry burst. Its one of the first runs with a plain maple cap. I'm just curious, I've owned a Gibson Les Paul Studio faded which I though was a great guitar, but I am loving the tone and feel of my Epiphone a bit more. Where does this Les Paul stand among Epiphone and Gibson guitars? I am keeping it, just curious. Thanks for any info.

Upload pics to a hosting site like imgur or photobucket then use the little picture icon in the editor to paste in the location of the images.

I don't really know that much about MiK LPs. But I love a good plain top!

Hoping this works. 2003 MIK Sheraton VS and 2009-2010 Les Paul1960 Tribute plaintop. It seems the Plus tops were started later. Its a great Les Paul. I really did enjoy the Gibson Studio faded I had, but it was a little light. The pickups were a little to high gain as well.

Nice guitars congrats. As far as comparing IMO that is a waste of thought.
If you like em, play em & enjoy them.

Thx! I see you have the 1959 Les Paul Standard. Was the 1960 Tribute something that resulted because of that model? I've heard great things about it.

I don't know the reason for starting the production of the 1960 Tribute in 2009, but they made the 50th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard in 2010. Like the 50th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard they were a limited run.
Specs: 50th Anniversay Les Paul - The Unofficial Epiphone Wiki

The Anniversary models differ from the Tributes by having Gibson Burstbuckers instead of Gibson 57 classics and the neck profile is different.
