I got an Epiphone case from Sweetwater for a EL00 acoustic earlier, and just ordered one of these yesterday. This is the standard Epiphone factory hard case that fits a Dot, Riviera, Casino, Sheraton or other 335 type Epiphone. I usually see these from $90 to $120, but Sweetwater sells them regularly for $80. For that money, it is a great investment to protect your Epiphone hollow body guitar, and add to it's resale value should you decide to sell it...

Again, I'm not involved with Sweetwater in any way except as a repeat customer for these great cases. I think they will fit a lot of different brand similar shaped guitars, too, and they are first rate quality factory new, solid cases with the Epiphone name and logo on the top cover. They have a LOT of various Epi hard cases, and I do not think you will find a better price for a new Epiphone case anywhere.

Yeah, great case. I bought mine from GC a few months ago with a price match from Amazon. The "fit and finish" are excellent and my Dot fits like a glove. If you buy it from Sweet Water you even get free tech support LOL.

Yes, these are really nice cases.

I foolishly let mine go with my Epiphone Dot when I traded it in to Sam Ash on some other gear a while back.. Turns out they told me that cases don't bring anything extra on the trade-in value... I would have kept that case had I known that...

Luckily, though, another type of Epi case did come with the used Casino that I got off Craigslist a few months ago, but honestly, I wish I had kept the original Epi case like you are referring to here - it was a lot better case than this one (and newer, too). But this one will do the job.

Truth be told, I kind of wish I had kept the Dot as well.. I do love the Casino, though.

Also, I got the same type Epi LP case (as you mention in your post) for my Epi Les Paul, and it is the same great quality.

Case got here today (Saturday) early afternoon. Perfect!

The Riviera Custom P93 fits perfectly, too...just snug.

I really feel better with any hollow guitar in a hard case, in fact any guitar that I really like to play is in its own case. Had a few bad experiences with gig bags with my re-issue Fender Telecaster bass back in my band days in the early 1970's. That Fender paint just flakes right off!

Pic of my P93 Custom Riviera in its new house...Dog sleeping on the floor is Rocco, US Army BDU Camo pants is me...
