Big gap between the neck pup and the fretboard. That's always annoyed me. Plastics look the same to me.

I thought I read on here the R8's would be morphed into the R9 line, all with killer tops, all the same price just differences in neck size? This photo contradicts that notion and also does nothing for me.

Honestly, I like the plain top on that. Pretty guitar, but it's tainted by the money-grab.

If you check the originals in BOTB and elsewhere, you'll see that's historically correct.

...but not worth a $2000+ increase IMO.
