New 3 way switch problem!?

Hi , The old 3 way switch in my epi started playin up a few days ago so i ordered a new long barrel one from axesrus, looks good quality however its got 6 terminals on it, ive never seen this before, can anyone explain which is which or has anyone got a diagram, its not a 3 pickup les paul, just a stardard. any help would be grately appreciated, im dying to get my guitar up n runnin again....

I'm not sure about the 6-way switch. But the easiest way is to use a multimeter to test the 6 connections in each switch position. Once you figure out how it works, it should be easier to decide where to solder the wires.

Look in the wiring library stickied in the Tonefreaks section.

If you can't find this info there, open a thread in that sub-forum.

Why did you buy the long one? It's £2 dearer than the normal one.

I assumed it wont be better quality than the shorter ones, ive had the short ones play up on me quite quickly.

The short ones from Axesrus? I was going to buy a couple of those for my Hamers.

Yeah the short ones dont last as long, i think its something to do with the contacts on them, ive been through a couple.

Ok, here you go, from their web site... Maybe you got the wrong switch....? Maybe two grounds and you need to crush the tabs for output together? No clue what's going on there.
