Please recommend some types of blue dyes to me that are suitable for staining wood and don't fade with time or sun exposure.

This guitar, which I built in 2012, started out with the exact color I'd been seeking since I first started building around 1985.

But it's faded a lot since then. Still beautiful but the vivid color is not so vivid anymore.

This was stained with Fiebing's leather dye, turquoise to be exact.

I'd like to replicate that shade in a dye that won't fade.

UV fades everything, but some are more light-fast than others.

I used LMiI water based aniline dye on the bosses bosses bosses strat. It should stay nice for a long time, but I did advise him to not leave it 8n direct sun if it can be helped because no colors are 100% UV proof in my experience

This is LMII water based aniline blue and yellow

Thanks, but I've been doing this for a while. I know HOW to stain, I just wanted advice on stains that are known to have minimal fade.

Chris, what was the ratio of blue to yellow you used to get that shade? I just got the same dyes but have no experience with them yet.
