Need opinion/info on this 1970's era LP Custom

This is one of many Gibsons I haven't heard of. Evidently was made in 2011. I think it's really cool. Steep price though. Has anyone heard of this type of guitar? Is the price fair for something like this?

She's a nice one but you can get an original 70s white Custom for the same price or even less.

You're right. My only problem is I have heard that 1970's LP's were not very consistent regarding quality. If I could play each guitar advertised on the internet to see how they felt, played, and assess their build quality, etc. then I would much prefer to buy a vintage instrument. Seems like it could take years for a white 1970's LPC to be available to play in my area and be fairly priced.
I'm guessing a newer guitar would give more of a guarantee so to speak. Also, it just happens that I will get a chance to play this one before I buy it. Guess I'm just nervous buying a 35+ year old instrument without being able to lay my hands on it.

All Norlins are excellent guitars and great sounding axes.Keep in mind that they were made by hand.Don't believe in those guys with that quality mith.They are flawless guitars.A 74 white would be the ticket.

Like all Gibson's, you will find duds here and there. You'd still need to go out and try the 70's Custom even getting it new, and how many places would have multiples if the first wasn't to your liking.

I've got 2 Norlins, and they're great guitars. They've got a different vibe going compared with the typical 50's Standard. But as with all guitars you have to play it for what it is, not what you want it to be.
