Did you switch to a heavier gauge set of strings? If so, the nut slots need to be cut wider for the thicker strings.

That's the first suggestion that came to me.

You said you got it and after three weeks the tone changed. When or how often do you change the strings? Playing an open note, there are only three things that can affect it. The nut, the bridge saddle and the string itself.

Ugur, like Gary said check for string binding at nut. Is the string hitting the pickups or pickup screws? Is the saddle on the bridge seated properly...tight in the pocket?

I see you are from Istanbul...are you Ugur Daiveren on YouToob?

thanx alot again Andrew

i remembered better now , after i buy it , took it to the luthier to change thestrings to elixir (10-46),cause my hands sweats horriblyy , i used them for 3 weeks but i noticed i couldnt get the tone from elixir .and then took it to the luthier again to change it to the original gibson strings again , (10- 46 ) cause i know the tension is diffrent between the strings and i dont know how to the set up , but both of the strings i use is 10 -46 not heavier or lighter ,yes open g string sound looks like wrong to my ear doesnt it?

nobe i m different uğur ,my full name is ugur yanç :)

bad thing is i dont understand the set up technique but every part of it looks good string not so close to the pick ups ,not hitting to pickups or pickup screws , saddle on the bridge seated properly , it looks tight to me , but i made an mistake i think , sometime i wondered the pickup names and loose the strings removed them and removed the pickups from the 4 screws one side on it and look behind them what was the model of pickups , could it be effect the set up , it was before the elixir strings , later had took it to luthier

you mean they are too below to E -A- D?

No,
Can't tell that from looking from above, But as another poster has said.
A saddle that isn't properly notched can cause issue's.

How much distance from the underside of the G to the top of the first fret?

Too high can cause tuning problems, as you stretch the string when fretting.

Too low can cause a buzzy echo.

This can happen quite commonly, as a lighter gauge can sit too low in the slots, and a heavier gauge can sit too high.

You need anywhere between .013 -.018 for proper string height above 1st fret and underside of strings.

I hear a slight rattle in the sound clip and agree that the saddle slots look deeper than normal on the the first through third strings. Does the echo/rattle go away on fretted notes? If so then the saddles need to be cut properly or replaced.

May just be the angle of the pics, but looks like the strings are touching the backside of the bridge. Try loosening the strings and raising the tailpiece until the strings clear the back of the bridge.

Since you seem new to guitar/gear..
You may want to wait and learn more about the instrument and the gear before you start spending more money.

Going by what you wrote in the third post, Learning how to change your own strings might be a place to start.

The music store is just trying to make a sale.
