Taking a shot in the dark here and hoping someone may have one of the MXR 70th Anniversary Hendrix Fuzz Face pedals.

Curiosity got the best of me and I tinkered with the internal trim pots on my pedal. Now I can't get the good tone back!

If anyone has one of these pedals can they post a pic of the inside so I can see how your trim pots are positioned?

thanks!

leave the back open, plug your guitar in, and dial until the spluttery splat goes away. Looks like you have a trimpot for each transistor. Might be a bit tricky, but you'll get it eventually :thumb:

unless you like the splutter and have lost it, in which case dial the other way!

Thanks for the quick replies folks! I needed a reference to try to get the pedal back to good.

Indeed I did and yes the pedal went all splatty on me. I had no idea what i was doing. I even wrote Dunlop to ask them how I should set it back and they told me I would have to send the pedal back to them to re-adjust.
