Neck Pickup way too muddy

I wired up my LP 50s style with the RS Vintage kit, and the bridge pickup volume and tone both work fine. When I switch to the neck pickup and start to turn down the volume, it rolls off the tone incredibly. Tone control works ok.

Could I have fried the pot/cap when soldering? There is no visible shorts in the circuit.

Move the cap on the volume pot end from the middle post to the outer post were the pickup is soldered to. See if that helps (it often does for me)

Fixed it! Turns out I had the pickup lead and lead to the switch mixed up. Maybe I'll label them next time
