NCD (for my soon to arrive Phaez)

Ok. so after contemplating keeping my 410 and upgrading the speakers and then thinking about a 112 ,I saw a great deal on a Lopoline 212 closed back diagonal cab loaded with a WGS Vet 30 and one of their ET65s. The cab is in wonderful shape and the speakers sound much better than I thought they would for what Warehouse charges. Much better. For 200 bucks it was a no brainer. Ive been losing sleep worrying about my speaker/cab situation with my Phaez coming very soon. I think Ill be ok until I can afford the Scumbacks I had originally planned on getting. And now I've got a sweet cab to put them in.

So I have a good cab and decent speakers. Some wonderful old glass, and best of all a Phaez JTM18 + boost, that if Im right, is burning in as I type. Damn I cant wait until it gets here!

looks like you and me are the only ones here that are in the lopoline club and not in the Sourmash club, and I don't mean that as a slam against sourmash by any means...if he had snakeskin tolex in stock when I ordered my 2x12 I would have gone with him but he did not and Lopoline is great quality too and has all kinds of in stock tolex selection so I went with them.

I can attest to their quality so you should be pleased with your purchase and I am envious of the price you paid. I had to pay full price for an empty cab from them and 2 speakers (1 green back at full price and a wgs at 75 dollars) so it sounds like you got a great deal!

Maybe we should start a Lopoline Cab Social group...oh wait, nobody ever posts in the Phaez Group so a Lopoline one would probably be failed from the get go

LOL. I read about yours earlier today. Really well built cab and Im super impressed with the warehouse speakers.

Hah. You got everything but your actual amp, and I've got nothing but the amp. My Corona's here and kicking, but I still got to put together a head cab (and I don't really know what I'm doing), I'm running it through my old Orange 112 until such time as I can get it it's own cab, and I'm gonna have to live with the JJs until I can get me some old glass.

Just thought that was funny. Opposite situations and all. Personally, I think I prefer mine...

Thats pretty good. Ive been trying to get this done for about a month now. And yes, Id almost rather be in your shoes, but hopefully by the end of the week ill be heating up some glass. I had Randy build my amp to fit in a Valve Jr cab so all Ill have to do is a couple of quick cab mods and Ill be good to go. Ill have less than 1000 in it, and that was pretty much my budget.

Im really impressed so far Ive been beating them up all afternoon and evening.
I just hope they sound great with the JTM.
