NBD: NEW BOAT DAY!

Hey fellas.
The nice weather is supposed to be coming so I got myself a boat again.
Early last year I traded my 80's Peterborough Bowrider for a Seadoo and had some fun for the summer. Well then I got rid of the seadoo regretfully.
Long story short I just traded my 4 wheeler for a 1996 Seadoo Speedster.
It's in pretty good shape for the year. Has 2 new turbines, rebuilt driveshafts and 2 new starters according to the seller. He had the work done and then stored it for the winter.
Started right up.
She needs a wash and maybe some vinyl cleaner on the seats but, looking good I think.
Cant wait to get on the water with it.

Thanks guys. My oldest (will be 3 in June) is very excited. She can't remember her other times on boats so it'll be kind of all new to her in a sense. She asked me 2 nights ago when I got it, "Dad, are we going to go put it in the water?" and I said, "No. It needs a good wash." Her response....."I'll help you scrub it!"
SO now I have a helper to get it ready!

They're supposed to. I've seen guys spin them like you can spin a PWC Seadoo.
I can't wait to try.
Some people "submarine" them. get going at a good speed and throw it into reverse and apparently it'll dive a bit. Don't think I'll be trying that one.

As soon as the sun comes out.
Theres a few towns not far from me flooding right now. And the river is getting higher and high here. With another weeks worth of rain in the forecast!
People's dock are floating away. Lots are under water.
I think it may be a week or two until I can find a good day to get out.

Yeah, having had a boat before I know the saying. I was lucky with the last one. Motor didn't blow up until the new owner had used it a bit.
I just hope to get some use out of this one before moving it on.

I've got that part covered, Once you hit the water it's hard to give it up. Its dirty right plus drying it out Sorry for the slight hijack.
