My Navi is my favorite! I changed the Caps out in mine when I changed the pickups. I have a set of Zhangbucker pagey 2's in mine. turned it into the greatest guitar I have ever played. I put some russian .022 PIO caps in it.

Keep rockin :)

I can't speak for the Jazz model but I wouldn't go from a Seth Lover to a JB unless you really want a midrange-heavy compressed sound from your bridge pickup. That can be great for crunchy Marshall tones but sounds nasty clean. In contrast I think you can get most any tone you want out of the Seth Lovers; in my opinion the only type of sound where I want something different driving the amp is really thick Rectifier-type tones.

Those are really nice guiatrs. I had both humbuckers and Alnico V-P90 combo pickups, both on the bright side.

Congrats!

Regarding Duncan pickups is my understanding ESP have some kind of agreement with him. Most (2000's) high end Navigators have Duncans. But ESP original pickups are very good. I just had a strat replica with great pickups.

The thing is i got a set of antiquity jb and jazz in my les paul classic i am happy with it, its wild and open, i like my navi with the seth lover too, it is punchy, lots of bass and very punchy. I just wonder would the jb and jazz set will make my navi sound wilder and retain the breefy bass

Any idea

I have a JB & A2Pro set in my '01 Navi LP Standard. I had Jazz in place of the A2P and I think it was a better pickup there, for my needs. I was ready to swap the JB out, but man - it sounds so great there I decided to leave it in :) I usually go for Duncan Custom in the bridge, for some crushing low end, but the JB is raunchier and more balanced. I can vouch for it, sure. My Navi is quite bright sounding (and very lightweight as well) to begin with, though. No shortage of bass there, but the amount of high mids dominate the tone and make the guitar sound thick but not muddy or murky.

The A2Pro is a bit too dark for my tastes, I'll probably get a Jazz to replace it with

The thing is i like my navi , its full of bass, however i also like the wildness of my les paul classic
I am just wondering if i change the jb and jazz set to my navi, would i be able to retain the bass and increase the wildness of navi, also would changing the cap help?
