So tomorrow I’ll be getting a beautiful 74’ fender twin reverb dropped off

I just picked up a 1971 Fender Twin with JBL Gray Back JBL D120F Speakers for super cheap (no reverb tank)

Just sounds so good and looking forward to adding the reverb tank once delivered.

I just saw a guy locally advertising his early 70's Fender QUAD Reverb - I would say that he would win! lol :laugh2:
(I never heard of a Quad Reverb before seeing his ad)

Unless he has JBLs in that thing, you still win. Two JBLs outweigh four of almost anything else you'll find in in a Fender.

Great amps, Congratulations.

Down the road you might try some American voiced speakers. I had Weber Chicago’s in my first Twin Reverb. Probably the best sounding Twin that I’ve owned.

Is it me or does a Les Paul sound so much better through a Twin then a Strat?
