I'd been eyeing this one for a while locally and pulled the trigger yesterday. I'm in the minority but I really dig the non-Reverb Deluxes. Smaller, lighter, cleaner and cheaper than it's reverb brother.
This one is a true transition model as it has Post CBS face plates and Pre CBS tube chart.
The speaker is a beefy late 70's Eminence from a Music Man amp. It sounds way better than I expected.

Awesome - congrats on your NAD! Those usually came with a crappy Oxfart speaker, so almost any replacement is an improvement. Fender had some cool amps in that transition period, this being one of my favorites. The blackface Pro with a 15" was another.

Super cool and congrats! You’re certainly correct that most folks prefer the Reverb version. Do the non reverb versions typically cost less these days?

Nice! If you’re into pedals the non-verbs keep it cleaner and work well with them.

Congratulations, I owned a ‘64 Deluxe, a very cool amp.
Enjoy.
