Your pictures are really bringing out the beauty of that Les Paul! Good work.

What type of pickups are in it. I have a 2010 Studio Deluxe in Heritage Cherry Sunburst with a 490R and BB Pro (both zebras) with coil taps. What amp are you matching it with?

I think that the pics look nice. You can try to use indirect lighting by bouncing it off the white ceiling or light colored wall (i.e. don't point the light source directly at the subject) and suppress the flash.

Nice looking guitar.

Congrats man. I love mine. I almost forgot I owned other guitars since i bought mine back in september. If yours is like mine it is a real keeper!!!

I bought mine in September too!

It looks like a sixties tribute with humbuckers and a gloss finish. The body looks just the same to my eye other then the gloss, the use of the cap as a binder, maybe the wiring is different and that sort of thing, but I never knew they made this guitar.

The top looks similar to the 60's Tribute Darkback in Vintage Sunburst. But the back on my guitar is not dark. I don't think they have Vintage Sunburst with natural back on the 60's Tribute. It also looks like the same top that is now on the new 2012 Studio in Vintage Sunburst. But the new Studio has that fading from black to natural at the back of the neck heel, like they do on some Customs.

Yes I have the same pickup combination of 490R and BB Pro. I'm not completely a fan of this combination, would have preferred a 498T on the bridge because the tonal characteristics of the two pickups are too different.

Here's a pic of my current amp setup - Line 6 Pod XT Live + Atomic Reactor 112-18. I also have on order a BlackStar HT-1R.

There is still a WOW factor when you open the case even after almost six months

I've procrastinated enough... can't believe it's been almost 8 months since I bought my first Les Paul, and it's a beauty. Finally I have some good sunlight and took some pics. Photographing it is harder than I thought, have to deal with all the reflections. As far as I can tell it has a one-piece back.

Like a French 'Creme Caramel' desert with strings. SWEET!!!:wow::drool:

You lucky sod!!!

I have the exact same guitar and love it too. I added a pick guard (i think a Les Paul needs one to look right, but that's a matter of personal taste). If you want to take pictures without reflections, just but a cheap polarizing filter for your camers, works like a charm.

Great looking Les Paul! The natural binding looks great, stands out a lot more than the natural binding on my Studio Deluxe in HC.
