I saw this in a local mom-and-pop store, and was pretty intrigued by it. They don’t seem to be widely available at the big online retailers yet, although the 112 version is everywhere. I got this for a couple bucks less than the regular price of the 112. Haven’t really gotten to light it up yet, so the jury is still out. I’m liking what I hear thus far. It is a single channel amp, with a 15 watt input and a .75 watt input. You have to tweak the volume and gain knobs to dial in the sound you want. Standard three band equalizer with one additional “tone” knob for a little more control. Digital footswitchable reverb. Has a built in stand on the front bottom edge that lets you tilt it back a little bit, nice touch. Pair of EL84’s, three 12AX7’s. The speakers are Laney branded, I thought they were Celestion Rocket 50s, but upon closer inspection, maybe not. I dig it.

The Cub 12 circuit is similar to the drive channel on the VC15, so it can't be bad :)
The stock speakers in the Cub are special made by HH, a company who have made speakers for Laney in decades, and is said to be owned by Laney.
Congratulations and happy NAD :)
