It finally arrived, 2008 Les Paul Standard. Wow - after playing Strats and super Strats for the past 23 years, it's taking a little getting used to, but that's the sound I've been looking for. She's voiced much darker than my last guitar and my amp's tone settings required some serious adjustment.
It'll need a few setup tweaks, but I had a ball letting her rip for the past couple of hours.
