Well, its a no-brainer...they are beautiful. Bet they sound great and play like butter. What is a bareknuckle pickup...its in the JR right? I am just a blues player and slide, but very interested in that bareknuckle

Bareknuckle pickups are based out of the UK. It’s I nice, crunchy sounding pickup. Unfortunately they’re pricey; I bought mine used from GC for $50 because they didn’t know of the brand.

I just sold a used set on Reverb for $240, which is a fair price. So they are expensive.

Here's my '87 reissue '61 LP/SG Custom. Much preferred to LPs, for me, both tonally and as a player. Yup, it has the slim neck -- which I love. Nice and light. Truly incredible fretboard and fret job. 3 PUs wired Frampton-style, ottherwise stock. PUs are Shaws.
