Well I'm Jake, What's the craic? (<how are you doing?)
Ive been dying to get my board organised for a few weeks now so I finally got some pedals at crimbo; Polytune, phase 90 and cc delay. As with all addictions, I want..neh I NEED more pedals so here is my scavenge and assemble.
I first found an old gorm-ish style shelf in my garage. Its about 15 by 12 inches. PERFECT!!! Then I found an old laptop bag that my dad was about to throw out, I hoped it would suit the board and guess what...It did so now I'm 2 for 2.
I was contemplating the layout of the board and it changed a lot in a few weeks but I started with this and running on batteries.
This was ok for a week or two until I placed an order on THOMANN.DE, Great website. I got a butt load of right angle connectors and a gator g bus power supply.
When all that arrived I painted the board with black acrylic paint, added the tc electronic sticker, laid out the velcro and tried the pedals on for size.
I added some rubber feet and some rubber doorstops to angle the board a bit
like here:
Then I added the pedals and ran the power leads, then I made the patch cable for the delay and phase.
the board works great now, really low noise over all I'm happy. I'd love to get rid of the phase 90 as it's not what I was really looking for, I'd prefer a chorus and then add the other pedals from above.
here is it now and I will add more(better) pics soon and when I update the board thanks for your time
much love,
jake
