Hey guys, Chobey from SouthPaw Pedalboards here:

As you may or may not have noticed, I've been inactive with the marketing lately. That's because I've been coming up with some new options and whatnot for my boards! Here's what my board looked like before:

And here's what it looks like now (crappy iPhone pics):

No more velcro! And new cables! I soldered them myself.

Neutrik locking input/output jacks. Also soldered them myself, they're so convenient!

Also I added an on/off toggle switch that turns on the power.

And here I added an AC outlet for the power supply to the Tremvelope.

I was tired of Velcro, so I added a sparkle tolex top. Also, all my cables are on top (I used to rum them underneath) so I can track down problem cables easier. I added two grommets to run the PP2+ cables and the Neutrik leads to the top of the board.

Overall I'm really happy with the end result! And everything that you see on my board I will now offer with Southpaw Pedalboards! Let me know if you want a board!

Turn it up,
Chobey

So when no one was home, I plugged into my Plexi and really cranked it (something I don't get to do often because it's an extremely loud 18 watts). WOW, the new cables really made a difference. my highs are sparkling, my bass is nice and tight, and the midrange is menacing. So glad that I did away with the old crappy cables!

Hey guys, I know, kinda delayed, but I finally found some time to take some new pics of the revised board! Here it is along with a board I finished up for a Tennessee fan. Cool sparkly tolex, eh?

You may be the first person I've seen that talks to himself online.
That board looks great! Does it come (or would it be available) with a hard cover?
When I built mine, I made sure my kids could jump on and off it with no damage done. (He still gets yelled at for it though.... I mean, come on, right??)
If it will survive the boys, it'll have no problems touring. :)

Ha! That's EXACTLY the reason I bought one with a flight-case, even though my pedals (almost) never leave my music room. It had to withstand the attach of.. the twins!

That was before I see Chobey's boards though...

Haha yeah, I mean what can I say, I'm a lunatic! I currently don't offer a "case system" for my board that I MAKE MYSELF. However, there is a guy on eBay who offers custom ATA cases for cheap. To be honest, He can built them better than I can, and for less money. Also, when the pedalboard acts as it's own case, the pedals still take a beating because they are what are absorbing a lot of the shock. With an ATA case, the case takes a hit, then the foam, then the board, then the pedals. Theoretically an ATA case works more efficiently.

Ha! That's EXACTLY the reason I bought one with a flight-case, even though my pedals (almost) never leave my music room. It had to withstand the attach of.. the twins!

You can always sell your board... :naughty::fingersx:

What are you using for that bypass switch strip? I want to run my board with one now and buffer either end but I cant seem to bring myself to pay huge money for a 10 or 12 patch switch.

I got it off eBay, it's a true bypass switcher from PedalRacks.com. Check out Loop-Master Pedals. Their stuff is killer and affordable!

And hey, if you guys like what you're seeing, check out the signature!

Here's my only issue with your product, sir: Let's say I show up somewhere and put one of those beauties on the floor, between my guitar and amp. People are going to take one look at it and expect me to be able to actually PLAY.
So, now what??
:hmm:

Order one with flames on it. Flames make you play better. DUH.
