I owned an Epiphone G400 in the mid '90s, and it scratched my itch at the time. Later, I used a Gibson that belonged to a friend. I've attempted to buy it numerous times, and even jokingly have threatened to steal it. I've spent way too much money this past year on guitars and gear, so I know that I shouldn't do it. But, my addiction is getting the best of me again. Please, for the love of god, help me. Tell me why SGs are really horrible guitars, how misguided my love for them is, and that I'm on the road to destruction if I don't stop.

Hi John, I feel your pain.

I already have a stunning Memphis 62 Reissue ES-335 from late 2018.
Hell, it’s probably one of the last ones from Memphis before they closed down.

But I’ve been GASing for a 64’ ES-335 reissue.
And I’ve already bought an elitist Casino and R8 used this year….And I can’t fight the urge!

You'll get no help from me. I resisted buying an SG for maybe 45 years, but I finally bought a 2019 SG Special with P-90s. Ain't it purty?

Well, thanks a lot for that, Man. Now you're givin' ME gas!

I am so hot for one of those beautiful Vintage Sparkling Burgundy Specials.

Simply gorgeous!!

:cheers2:

Happy to be of service! :laugh2:
It's funny that the one I saw in Pelham blue was easily passed over. Too common a color lately, IMO. But the burgundy? Ooh, gotta have it!
:cheers2:
