A beauty started its life as a AAAA traditional Pro V. A really beautiful guitar on its own. Contrarary to a lot of people's belief, I think Trad Pro V's bells and whistles has its use and place, and with the special calibrated pickups, Gibson finally got it right. (after many years of trying and failed attempts too.)

However, I don't need the HP-5 and the bells whistles for me, so I send off that system along with the pickups to a gigging musician in need (felt good about that).
and I changed to the good ol' 50s wiring, and a pair of Lindy Fralin PURE P.A.F

And, everything is perfect.

I love it.

Very nice! Wish that the TP's found their way over to Europe more often. The TP2 did almost 10 years ago, but I think only because of over-production / over-stocking, which is how I managed to get one in the U.K., but sadly nothing since. I personally love the aforementioned bells and whistles - lots of tone presets for a show!

Lmfao, "finally got it right". It's like religion, yours is the only correct interpretation.
