My little aged custom built 59ish monster.

So I built this a while back, always wanted a really aged monster of a guitar. Spent a lot of time photo searching and researching and came up with this guy. Painted, Assembled, And Aged by me, Misc hardware from Faber, Stewmac, Creamtone etc. Pickups are Geppetto Guitars Camelots (PAF Clones)

I call her the beast not because of the iconic LP but she truly is a monster. Best playing guitar I think I just got lucky and the moon and stars aligned but she truly is a monster.

Normally, relics do not appeal to me, but you have captured the beauty of age and have resisted all the nonsense over-abuse/damage/exaggeration that features into relicing and is so stupid and obvious. To me, color and surface patina are the visually important qualities of an older guitar, and you have produced an instrument that is really inviting, rather than just dramatic and beat looking. I also appreciat the absence of a Gibson forgery inlay. I think you should be prouder of this guitar than a person would be of a purchased, Gibson-manufactured piece. And I like Gibsons! Thanks for posting. Fantastic, fantastic work.
