My Les Paul Defect Burst - Beauty or the Beast?

Hello,

I would like to present you my new Les Paul R8 from 2018. I called her the Defect Burst because of the strange wood grain on the top. I still don't now if it's hot or not! Just tell me what you think? It's unusual but maybe it's her strong point.

Those mineral streaks look pretty cool to me. But if you do not like it, that is what matters.

I see a dolphin facing down on the left half of the top, and a ball-fish facing up, on the right half.

The first thing I thought of were these Heritage 80 guitars from the 80's.

Could just be me, but this was the first series to even get me LOOKING at a Les Paul at all...

I had never even considered them before..

I love them BECAUSE of the movement in the grain pattern, more than just a regular Christmas tree pattern down the front.

Another vote for hot, simply because to me it adds movement, character and uniqueness to the top.
