My Les Paul build

Hello from Croatia!

This will be my thread for my last build. I´ve been planing this build for a long time. Now I think im ready. I will start this or next week with this build. Now are holidays, and I have a lot of cousins,aunts,uncles etc. to visit

Group shot of woods:

(Maple billet,honduras mahogany,braz rosewood)
Missing: Neck wood(also Honduras)I have it, but it was in my workshop and I was lazy.

Maple billet:

This is nice piece of wood. It rings like a bell. It was stored for about 25-30years.This is bosnian or croatian maple I dont know exactly.

This is also nice and old piece of wood, and I love it. It is very lightweight I think. Dimensions of the blank are:500x400mm and it weights:3.5-3-6kg(7.7Ibs).

Fingerboard:

This is a old braz board(you can see that its slotted to gibson scale) with celluloid inalys.

Btw. sorry for the crappy pics and my bad english.Now I need to make a templates and Im ready to start!
