My JayDee Old Boy Custom featured in book!

Hi Folks!

Well, it looks like it finally happened! My JayDee Tony Iommi "Old Boy" Custom has been included as one of the featured guitars in the new Haynes SG Handbook that has just been released! They did a 6-page case study (pp130-136) on my guitar, even mentioning me by name and including the customizations I had added to the guitar!! Fukkin unbelievable that my name is included in a book that has an introduction written by Tony himself as well as references to many of my guitar heroes!!

Thats awesome to hear, congrats.

The cool thing about those Jaydees is the SG curves and bevels are taken off of Tony's Monkey 65 Special. They're like that guitar's bastard offspring.

From what the book reports (in the forward which Tony penned), it sounds like he altered the horns and made a deeper cutaway bevel to be more to his liking ...which I have to admit I like better too.

Yup, hardcover came in yesterday. Pretty frikkin awesome! I knew that the guitar was going to be in the book since last summer, but didn't get to see it until I got the book yesterday.
