Beautiful guitar!
And, I played a gig a couple of months ago in front of around 1500 people as part of a duo using that very same Fender Champ amp, the reverb on it really does it for me - Such a versatile little thing!
The speaker upgrade of choice for these tends to be these:

But mine is fine stock for my needs!
Congrats :)

Congrats on that super sweet Tribute!

I had a '17 one very similar but with more mineral streaks in the top. Foolishly gave to my brother when I got a standard thinking I wouldn't need it. Big mistake. Ended up getting another tribute, a goldtop, and will definitely hang on to it.

Tributes rock. Hard to beat, fur sure. Hope you enjoy in good health for many years to come!

Dude that Vox is sooo sick, I love it. How much does something like that cost? Beautiful guitars btw, I love that strat. SRV was such a talented dude.

No worries , I’m loving all the pics/comments. Couldn’t be happier to be a part of this group

I got it new for 3 or 400…it was a steal imho
it is, by far, the most interesting amp i own

What’s good y’all.

I’m 21 years old, been playing guitar since I was around 10. Always been a fan of the blues and classic rock (Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd and SRV being some of my favorites).

A Les Paul had always been my dream guitar, just about all my guitar idols have had them. But, being a broke kid, it was just a dream…until now!

It’s a brand spankin new 2022 Les Paul Tribute in a Honey burst finish. I had been eyeing the tribute line for years as it was something I could see myself being able to afford and I did research quite a bit before purchasing. Lots of people love them, some don’t think they’re worth the price. Personally, I couldn’t be more happy. It plays and sounds loads better than the Epi’s I’ve played in music stores.

I had planned on getting the Cherry finish but it didn’t play good whatsoever and the neck was slightly thicker and not to my liking. The Iced Tea LP tribute they had played super good but I wasn’t much of a fan of the finish. I asked the guy at the store if they had any Honey Burst tributes in the back and he looked, they didn’t but they did have one left at their warehouse across the city. He went and snagged it for me, brought it back and I Instantly fell in love, it played just as good if not better than the Iced Tea tribute that I liked and damn. the top is SO gorgeous. I personally like the satin finish more than glossy, its more comfortable in my hands and has that vintage vibe to it.

Anyway, that’s the story on my new axe! Lemme know what y’all think of the tribute line and lets see your collection of LP's!
You’re on your way Sir!

That's awesome, man! Welcome to the club.

First Gibsons are always special.
Mine was a Cherry SG Standard more than 20 years ago.
Still with me.

I'll echo what the guys said and never sell it!
You'll play a lot of mojo into it for the next years.

The look on your face while playing it says it all!

Thanks again y’all ✌️ I definitely wont ever sell it cause damn, I love it! Can’t wait to start a Les Paul collection.

My dad has an old 1966 Gibson Custom Barney Kessel that was my grandpas, it’s pretty cool. My family loves Gibson guitars.

Quick question for any of you who record at home, what equipment and software do you use? I really want to get into making YouTube videos and possibly producing music, don’t really know where to start tho.

I have FL studio, a windows laptop and an iPhone. I’m looking into getting a mic, maybe the SM57. If anybody has some input id appreciate it a ton!!

I just started a Youtube channel last month and started posting videos. RJ-Zero

Anyway, I use my iPhone for some things and a Zoom Q4N video camera, which has good live music recording. That is what I have for now, just getting started. The Q4N is only available used on Reverb and such, for around $179, but the new stuff is a Zoom Q8 on Amazon for $299 and a Zoom Q8N-4K for $399. I use software for Windows called Freemake Video Converter to compress my videos making them a lot smaller from both my iPhone and my Q4N videos, so they are smaller and easier to maintain/manage. I am just starting off, so that is what I am using. At some point as I up my skills, I plan on doing more since I have a USB Audio Interface and a SM57 mic already. But for now, the above makes it easy to put stuff together quickly and post it out to my Channel. I also have a Mac Mini with a 2tb drive to store and do stuff with Garage Band, I just have not gotten that far yet.

Plus... I have moved a few times since the last time I used the Audio Interface and Mic, so I have to find which box it is in. Haha

Congratulations and welcome to the forum… It is a beautiful guitar.
Everyone of us here has a story about his first Les Paul.. mine is a bit unforgettable, I got my first Les Paul through a fellow member in this forum.. He managed to purchase it for me from Canada and hand it to my brother who got it here for me (in Egypt). That was a dream for me to have such guitar !

The guitar was an R8 and the guy was @Tim Plains … I will never forget that favor !
