I've never bought a new car. I always stick with used. Figure since I fix 90% of the issues with them myself that It wouldn't be worth me having a payment every month. Two of my vans have 160k plus miles on them. W00t!
My fiance is almost finished paying off her Lincoln. I'm hoping maybe once she does that she can spring for the next vacation we take. w00t w00t!

I hate the thought of owing someone else money.
Having the man own a piece of my ass.
The only time I've ever been in debt was for a mortgage on my house.
I did nothing for eight years, literally.
Saved all my dough and was able to pay off my mortgage early.
Too early as it happens;
Then the recession happened and interest rates collapsed!

Ah well, at least it's mine and no bank can take it away from me.

Congratulations!!! You must be psyched! I can't wait for the day that happens to me I've got a 4 year financing deal on my 2007 fiesta, and i've paid up 2 years so far as of a few weeks ago. My first car too! Tell you something though, i'm keeping it until it's died a natural death, and is absolutely, positively finished. I love it to bits.

I done that after having my car for less than a year I'm a bit of an audiophile, so a "bangin'" audio setup is a must!
