Thanks. It has been a killer guitar for the last 5 years and hopefully many years to come!

That’s a hot one. What finish is that?

They do look more natural with real playing wear.

The 2007 B7 that I bought from @bossaddict im 2014 had some scars when I got it. But after 4 years of gigging, this Custom is definitely “players grade”.

The top is getting to the point where there’s more divots than on a fairway (ok, that’s a gross exaggeration but I play the shit out of this guitar)

Nothing really visible in pics but it has it's scars from the years. Still plays and sounds amazing!

Post your gig/played and scared Historics, even if the damage doesn't show in pics!
Very nice!

They say the great players get played...well this one sure did! It's had a re-fret since. Lot's of wear on her, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I tried to catch the checking however the lighting and the iPhone didn't help out.

My 2002 R8, purchased from fellow forum member Brian Seneca almost exactly 1 year ago. It was nearly mint when I got it, save for some pick surface wear, and even though I use it for eveyr practice and show that I play, it still remains that way. I haven't been wiping it down after shows, kinda seeing how the finish wears with some natural body oil and sweat sitting on it, but it takes everything in me not to wipe and polish it when I look at it. It's the perfect finish and top, in my eyes.

This 2266c has seen some serious action from its previous owner(s). These two might see some action in October. :naughty:

Nice LP! :thumb:

I do not have historic to show, but all I can say abut guitars is: As long as there is no scars, it ain't yours.
Congrats on the battle scars.

Man, I love that curvy grain on top.
Beautiful!
Thanks!

Here's another with flash.
It gets a little crazy!

It's very difficult to photograph, always comes out more red than it actually is. Btw It's the same guitar that's in my avatar. Like a good burst should, depending on the angel and the light it takes on many faces.

This 2012 R8 Ice Tea plain top has been my workhorse for last 5 years, but alas I left my longtime band early this summer to tend to life's priorities.... but we still hit the occasional blues jam and sit ins. :cheers2:
