Well, as long as we're raising the dead… How come no one told me it's not 1993 any longer?!?!?!?!?!

I'm always the last one to find out this shit!

ouch,..sky-blue jeans.

Dark Blue Denim

:)

Those went out,......yeah about 15 years ago. :laugh2:

technically 'tight' jeans are in,...but f**k that my boys need room. But dark jeans have been in style for a while now. Very light colored blue jeans kind of scream, "I haven't paid any attention to what people wear since the original Beverly Hills 90210 went off the air in the 90's."

:D

It's pretty much the required dress code here in the Seattle underground circuit

Shorts with pasty white legs and calves that make you look like your are riding an ostrich are not a good look.

If you have manly calves and a healthy glow, you're good to go.

The rest of you pants (tight, ewww, or otherwise) on!

OK, here's one that's quite acceptable because of the flannel. But flannel should only be worn if: a) you play in Seattle, or b) you are trying to bring the Seattle culture around the world on tour. (NOTE: you fail if you are trying to bring the Seattle culture to the world but are not actually from Seattle.)

Necro bump...

So I'm headed out to play an outdoor afternoon gig, and I wanted to be sure and proudly announce that I will indeed be performing in shorts.

And flip flops

I hope you break a string.
(not really)

Khank,

I may have missed it, but have you posted any photos of your gigs? We'd love to see what you wear. You do play in public, right?

80's Hair Metal cover band. No, I'm not giving you any pictures here. That'd be like walking naked into a gay bar.
Actually, this thread is kinda like a gay bar. Upon that realization, it's clearly time for me to go.

Stick around fancy pants :thumb: you might learn something besides how to use a curling wand and co-ordinate spandex to your eye shadow.
That's 2 threads you've threatened to quit in 5 minutes
Are you that fat cherub Jim?er Melanie ...

I gave him a chance to promote his band and show us his appropriate band attire, but he couldn't produce a single photo? I think that confirms my opinion that he's never set foot on a public stage.

I don't think homosexuality is right. But then again, neither is drug addiction, alcoholism, over-taxation, the TSA, police state VII, public surveillance, abuse of the Constitution, religion, murder, war and a holy host of other nationwide and worldwide evils.

In fact, there often doesn't seem to be very much that is right with the world right now.

Oh- and all of this in my opinion of course.

Got a little fixation, don't you? :hmm:

:D

Not only sky-blue, but holes in the knees. It was a last minute decision to wear 'em. And, I knew that I'd take shit for that. But, WTF? :D

I changed my mind: it's OK with me if musicians wear shorts onstage, sandals, wife beaters, wool hats, etc.
