Probably been mentioned before, but I was watching "Animal House" tonight and the guitar player for Otis Day & the Knights is playing LP GT.

Kinda hard to tell, but at first thought it was a '57 GT, and seeing the movie was filmed in '78 a guitar made in 1957 would have just been a 21-year old guitar and not a collector piece.

Blow up of the pics, by the looks of the pups, vol/tone knobs and headstock looks more like a Deluxe GT.

What say ye?

I thought so too. Too small to be a HB.
Plus the headstock looks too big for a '57.

Channel surfing past a cartoon the other day and he had a blue LP no name usually its a Strat or V animator must like LPs. PS this scene reminds of that other great John Landis movie where John Candy and the other cops are at the bar and he gets them all orange whips who wants a whip whip whip whip whip whip 5 orange whips :laugh2: Good ol Blues Brothers.
