Who ripped you to shreds? You posted a thread asking people what they thought of a repainted and bondoed fiddle with a funky headstock job and people told you what they thought, 99% of which was a mix of good info and speculation based on what you presented. Don't ask for opinions if you don't want them. Nobody was "wrong".

To some the headstock break may not be the only thing "wrong" with that guitar, either. Along with the headstock break, I'd also want that pup route and horrible gouge filled, the bent bridge pin needs fixed, it needs pups, a pickguard and a respray. I'm guessing, just based on the abuse it has already gone through, that it will also need a full setup too. If you want to actually play that thing, it's going to likely be more than $120, but good luck to you and...feel free to prove me "wrong".

I concur with the two posts above as well..That guitar you first posted looked like garbage. If you are really going to do a full restoration to that guitar, add another "1" to your $120 neck fix estimate. PM BCRGreg and see what he thinks..He'll give you an estimate to "restore" that guitar.

Also, where is a complete "after" neck and headstock pic. Id like to see what the break looks like.

sorry, i forgot to mention some other details. i already have a pretty much all the parts necessary to fix it. and that since the guy who's fixing it is my best friend he is going to do all the other stuff for free. and i work at an automotive restoration shop so i will be able to paint it for free. once again sorry for that out the lack of additional information, i probabley sounded pretty stupid without this included.
