Chicken fried steak...for those days when you can't make up your mind over chicken or beef. I've probably got 3-5 lbs sitting in my colon now...and I'm still hungry.

Actually did you know that red meat sits in the colon for ages before being fully digested.
Man originally gorged on red meat every now and again when he made a kill, then maybe weeks or months would pass before they ate it again.
Today too many people eat far too much red meat.

The last time I ate a steak in a restaurant was about 25 years ago. ( Or at home for that matter ). Not because I am a vegetarian, but simply becasue I prefer the taste of fish or chicken. It's far too expensive and over rated for me.

Plus the fact I'm tight when it come to eating out.:laugh2:

Over here, red meat is a hell of a lot cheaper than fish.

About this whole draft dodging Ted thing: How many of you guys have done things in your 20s that you'd never do again? Or that you'd speak out against? I'm not giving an excuse, I'm just saying that people change and something that he did when he was young doesn't hold a hell of a lot of bearing to who he might be today. I don't know because I don't know enough about him now and I don't know enough about how he was back then. But it applies to anyone. Who can honestly say they've NEVER lied? Who can honestly say they've NEVER been a hypocrite? I'll be the first to say that I've done both many times.

I wouldn't gloss over or hide the fact that I've done them. Ask me a question about my past behavior, and I'll be honest. Have been, all over these boards. I've been "me" for a very, very long time. :hmm:

The latter part of your post, well, we all know that applies to us all. We all try to be who we want to be, and we all fail at times. I don't buy that makes us hypocrites, it just makes us failed human beings.

I see you've found yet another seizure-inducing avatar. What's up with that?

I wasn't saying that our past makes up hypocrites. I was saying something like this. I smoke but I don't want my friends to smoke with me because I don't want them to get addicted. To me, that's myself being a hypocrite because I'm talking about how bad something is but I do it.

It just happens that they're seizure inducing. To me, they're funny. I'm currently finding ones I like, but too many of them are too large.

"It just happens" that some people have PTSD.

Smoking but not wanting others to smoke is NOT hypocritical. It's being an addict. I spent some time with coke. I don't want you to. Get my drift?

Hypocritical is me telling you not to beat or belittle your girlfriend, then beating and belittling Riverette. Big difference.

But I like to smoke :hmm::D I know what you mean. But in my personal case, it's me being hypocritical, and I have done far more hypocritical stuff. I was just giving an instance.

You know when people say "take your own advice"? Yeah, I've experienced that all my life. I've done things relationship-wise that I'd constantly tell people never to do (not because of experience, but because it's the right thing to do.), but I didn't follow it myself.

"I have a brain and I work that brain and it works and it knows the difference between right and wrong and it's got a thread of common sense. And that...it's not Ted's opinion. It is how it is ... we're just working hard, playing hard and anybody that wants to get in our way does not deserve anything less than a bullet between the eyes ..."

"... And in my mind, I'm going why can't I just shoot this guy in the spine right now; shoot him in the spine, explain the facts of life to him... [Ted referring to an encounter with a Hare Krishna]" - WRIF-FM, Detroit, Ted Nugent as guest D.J., September 28, 1990

Uncle Ted,he's hilarious. The Great White Hunter. Except in Vietnam the prey shot back, therefore making Ted the hunted...a scenario he apparently disliked.

It reminds me of a line in the movie Fright Night, where the Vampire says to the fearless vampire hunters, "Welcome to Fright Night. For Reeaal".

Yes, my sister used to live in Portland, Oregon (on the west coast) and loved the salmon over there. She moved back to the center of the country and got pissed because there wasn't any good fish :laugh2: I like fish, but I grew up on pork chops, steaks, and hamburgers :thumb:. In Kansas, I can get a pound of pretty good steak for $3 a pound but shrimp is $7 a pound.

Boy that looks good. I try to eat healthy, but CFS is a wonderful invention. However, not so good at IHOP. I find you can only eat that in the little mom and pop places that still give a shit.

Man, that IHOP CFS SUCKED when I had it. Not to mention, it's pretty massive. I still haven't had a really good Chicken Fried Steak. I live in an area that's pretty much filled with IHOP, Applebees, Friday's, etc. I WANT A DAMN COUNTRY COOKIN RESTAURANT :mad2:
