Most Annoying People To Play With?

People who spend all their available time chasing tail or smoking grass and can't be bothered for 'doing work' (a.k.a rehearsals)

People who have been playing '10 years' and can't do a pinch harmonic or anything other than power chords and bar chords and play only punk covers

Vocalists who think it all revolves around them, don't show up at load-in, and only show 20-15 minutes before a set (Did I mention they say 'you can trust me to bring the merch!'?)

Guitarists who want to play gigs with their Gorilla amp or line 6 15 watt combo in front of 500+ people

Guitarists who think they are as good as Vai, Petrucci and Satch after playing 6-7 years yet can't fucking play Metallica's Seek and Destroy worth a god-damn

Guitarists who want to start a band with you and come to jam when you discover they can only play with one finger in drop C....

I could go on forever. There's a reason I'm depressed about jamming with people. I hadn't in months until I jammed with Harpozep the other day (very nice chops I have to say, and contrary to what he says, not annoying at all).

I'm no guitar god, I'm pretty feeble, but come on people! Someone step up to the plate!

Are not vesatile and suffer from accute pentatonicitus.

Well I think I'm versatile in some ways, but I love the pentatonic scale--but then I don't want to play long solos on every song, in fact I don't want to solo on every song. I prefer to be the rhythm guitarist and take a couple of solos here & there.

I was so pissed the other day when this kid I know told me I sucked at guitar. I then raped him at it. He still said I sucked when he realized I was way better than him. Earlier I had been nice and just played rhythm so he could solo.

I hate playing with shredders. They just don't listen and don't stop playing to listen what other people have to say

musicians workshop on stage (you know constantly tuning,
playing in between songs)
Guitarists and Drummers that have to get the Last Note In
after the song is over, turns a tight ending into a sloppy blur

I am annoying because I have a nice amp and cabinet, but am not that great of a guitarist.

As far as the noobs in GC that crank the amps, I can fart on command, so I usually have some air biscuits saved up just for them. I have cleared out a whole section of GC before.

I'm headed in tomorrow to drop off an application. I'll be sure to bring a gas mask to work if I get hired.

People that have to stop at mid song and pull out the tuner to re-tune
because a string is 1/2 step off...So its re-tune time..
Instead of just tweekin' it on the fly and keep going........
I have left alot of Jam's because this pisses me off..........

Or the dude thats 1 hour late cuz he was trying to score some weed...........
And gives you this lame ass excuse..
" I cant play unless I'm faded,I get into it better".........................

Any guitarist that is half way decent can detect which string is out and fix it without retuning.

People who are either so overbearing it's not fun anymore or people who are so wasted they shouldn't have bothered in the first place.

Some of them went to school for music and had to have everything perfect..
A drummer comes to mind that had his own drum mic system..
He had a mic for every part of his drum kit, going into its own board/head unit,
And then into the mixer....
It took like 1 to 2 hours to set up and get them sound checked...
Dont get me wrong he was one of the best drummers(and now a pro) I had the chance to play with,But COME ON......
Its Rock-n-Roll...
Not Rocket science........

Thats the old drummer trick to get out of
heavy lifting, they spend one to two hours
setting up and tearing down as an excuse
so they dont have to help carry in amps and
pa equipment and carry it out.
"i have to do this just right so i dont mess my drums up"
Dude............YOU BEAT ON THEM FOR HOURS what are
you talking about
