More Studio Weirdness.

So, as I've mentioned a bunch of times in the past, I have a studio/practice space that I've been in for over 10 years now. It's a home away from home, and all of the bands/projects that do stuff there, are like family.

I have a band called "Triac Resistor" which is primarily a recording project. We tend to do heavier electronic music. Some people would call it "Industrial", but I hate that term.

I'm also in a newer thing that we're calling "Pitchforque" at the moment. Heavy detuned stuff like The Melvins or maybe "High on Fire". That's in the initial stages.

My friend, and main collaborator, Bob, occasionally takes songs we've worked on, and makes simple vids to put on youtube. He does this just as a fun thing, not serious at all, but I thought I'd post a few of those efforts. Enjoy... Or not. :laugh2:

This is a demo we were working on for a cover of an old German song. Pretty basic, but I like it until the music drops out at the end. Bob cleverly just pasted our audio over the video for the original song. I guess MTV had low visual standards back in the early 80's!

This is a really basic vid for an early song of ours called "Death" I'm not in the video... Must have gone home early that night... But it's got some funny footage of my friend Chris (The other guitar player in Triac) being the total rock clown he is. :)

This is another project Bob is doing, called "Bob is going to Hell". He's recording an entire album worth of material where each song covers a different genre. We've worked on a Spaghetti Western style soundtrack song, metal, hip hop, and this one... Which is supposed to be pseudo goth/early 80s new wave. The weird thing is that none of it's supposed to be taken too seriously, but people that've heard this tune seem to think Bob should continue in this musical direction!

This is a demo from my new "Pitchforque" project. Very "demo". :)

The vocals/lyrics are just there to mark the place that the real ones will eventually go... Although I kind of like the "Angry Muppet" vibe they have. :laugh2:

Again... Enjoy if you're bored today. I love my studio, and the weirdness that we occasionally produce there.
