I actually find it interesting that the Supreme on eBay has the right type of bridge, given that many of the counterfeit guitars often use metric bridges.

Probably a dumb question, but how can you tell a metric bridge from a regular bridge?

Gibson bridges don't have slots in the adjustment posts.

On the other question -- A lot of the photos on the Fibson/Chibson sites are factory or otherwise "lifted" photos -- The guitar you get isn't typically the guitar pictured.

I do not believe that Supremes are genuine Gibson models.

There are just too many fakes of them out there...

Do you think someone used "Buy it Now" or maybe the auction was ended due to reports of it being a fake? Makes me sick to think that someone would spend that much cash on an obvious fake due to ignorance of the product.

I reported it and i think others here might have as well.

yeah, not to be that guy, but i report a lot of these guitars off a few action sites. way too many fakes out there. better off just meeting the person and seeing it for yourself if you cant afford/dont want a new one (you also have to hope that the person isnt a serial killer hunting down guitarists)
