Hey guys, just pulled my dogear p90 from a newly acquired 2015 Gibson les paul junior. To my surprise, its branded mojotone. To my understanding, factory p90s would have been alnico slug? I dont see any numbers for identification. Was hoping someone may have some insight.

It's an aftermarket pickup that someone installed.

Not sure what you mean about the slug.

Typical P-90s have two bar magnets, it that's what you mean.

I'm not sure exactly what it means either, the specs for the 2015 say it comes with a Gibson branded p90s (the s stands for slug)

The P-90SR and P-90ST have six non-adjustable pole pieces, instead of adjustable pole screws. I think that's what you are referring to.
