What I know about old amps and cabinets that at some point in their life they need to have tubes and speakers replaced...... grill cloth is cheap.... and they do still make that exact print. Get a bag of ice and chill out.

Lightening up there, champ. The “check” pattern grill cloth is readily available, and if you prefer the Frankenstein “yarn stitching”, more power to you. You clearly started the post with a jab at yourself for stating that your guitar costs more than your car... which I assume has the front bumper duct taped on, albeit with tons of “mojo.”

So you're saying that a perfectly operational 40 year old Marshall cab, [the best ive had in 40 years] is suppose to look "brand new" instead of looking 40 years old ?
By who's standards ?
That makes no sense at all. But then so do most things on forums.
BTW how many cabs do you know that have tubes ?
The cab is 100% original, the only Marshall grill cloth available is large check.
These are small check and that is extinct.
