Just picked this one up and I absolutely dig it. I’ve always loved explorers but found them uncomfortable to play sitting down, but with the smaller body, this thing gets locked into the pocket when sitting. Really comfortable and a dream to play. I would definitely recommend checking one out if given the opportunity

I have a black version. The smaller body is a gem for my frame size. It is very comfy

I was very interested in one of these, when they came out. Great bang for the buck, nice binding, rare on Explorers. Ordered one to the Thomann shop. It also played very well, but it simply looked so small on me. It is the only guitar ever, that I didn’t buy because didn’t look good on me, but it was just wrong. From the specs it doesn’t seem to make a big difference to the standard explorer. It’s a great guitar if you aren’t too tall. I had to wait until the Golden Axe came out , I think it was 2013, to get a similar Explorer in full size.

I've always found my Explorer super comfy sitting down with it in classical position.

Definitely looks awesome! Not sure why but it reminded me of the Government Series they had going for awhile. Congrats on your NGD!
