What wiring and tone circuit upgrades should I look for?

You should send a PM to Jonesy, he is the resident guru with that stuff, he helped me get my Strat sounding its best

I also put in a Deaf Eddie switch (Fralin makes a similar "blender pot") which allows to you get more pickup combinations, like neck+bridge (very useful!), neck+mid+bridge, with the Deaf Eddie you can get the standard combos with the pickups set in series (rather than parallel as stock) which fattens them up alot. I forget the price I payed, less than $40, it was worth every penny
