i allso got 3 egc from 1982 ,,, one has serial 2 58xx with doweled neck ... and one 2 59xx and the last one 2 60xx and it has the long tenor ,,, so within 200 numbers the changed from doweled neck to long tenor
they have the inked serial but with the big numberes not like the eg 450 ..it has the small numbers

Does the last #2 60xx EGC have similar features like the first two with doweled tenons ?

Do cavities and other features look similar to the 1980 EGC-500 in the chart I posted here http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/oth...guitars-defy-catalog-specs-3.html#post5464610 ?
Just wondering, because the 4 guitars in that comparison appear to range between 1980 and 1982.

I have a 1982 EG59-45 #2 3731 and it looks totally different from those ones. The wiring channel is straight in the lower bout drilled from the mortise and the tenon looks different. I don't know if that is of interest as I think it is the same way that that some of the customs were done at the time. Need pics?

i got a greco ... from 1982 serial 2 7620 ,, has the same tenor as the black one i post pictures of before
and i can see they are only 50 numbers apart 2 7670 and 2 7620

think mine is a eg 450 too has a 3 piece top ,,,,

here's a curveball. open book epi with an aria pro tenon and an orville(?) serial nmber? thoughts?

Sorry no idea about Epi serial number formats but
your Epi was Matsumoku made as you say, as were some Arias.
It looks similar to this Burny http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-les-pauls/167868-_mij__faq_-_links-2.html#post3828310 , aside from the Burny RLG not having a serial number.
