Member appreciation thread

If this takes off, fine, if not, that's o.k. too. I figured it might be nice to have a thread to give a shout out to other members.

I really like this site and the vast majority of the members here. There are some genuinely great people around here. I have bought, sold, and traded gear with some cool people. I posted a thread about my daughter and her medical issues, and received support from all over the place, whether it was advice, support, or simple words of encouragement, it was appreciated.

I have met up with some members, attended concerts with them, and jammed with them.

This place has made me laugh, cry, and GAS. I have learned a lot here. So, my thread, I'll start with a few off of the top of my head, but I'll add more later.

Darth550 has become a great friend, and a brother from another mother! Reached out to me on the thread about my daughter's autism, as he too has a child with autism. Cool guy, and have had lots of laughs!

Sct13, great guy! We've met, went to a concert, and jammed. He came to check our band out, and is a very knowledgeable guy. Got his Shanks from me too!

Mfolet, many phone conversations. He has personally helped me go into a lot of debt! Taking time to play and report on different guitars I have been interested in. Great player, great guy! Thanks Michael!

Zakmichael has become a good friend. Lives 10 min. from me!

Pinefd....Extremely knowledgeable! Talked on the phone on a few occasions, and is just a genuinely nice guy. Thanks Frank!

Jimmyace...I'd love to have his collection!

7gtop, His posts are always entertaining, and takes the time to drop some kind words. A credit to MLP

Seriously tho... I have only been a member a little over a year, and I have never actually met anybody from here, but I HAVE learned so much from MLP! I have some old dogs coming to me now asking me questions and advice on pups, caps, 50s wiring, etc...
